The Edward Barnsley Educational Trust was set up to pass on the knowledge and furniture-making experience built up over many years in the Barnsley workshop. Our commitment is to provide training opportunities and financial support to people who are passionate about learning the craft of handmade furniture. Your help enables us to do this.

Thanks to the support of people like you who share our passion, and the effectiveness of our training program, nearly all our apprentices continue to earn their living using the skills that they have acquired at the workshop. Your support shapes the lives of apprentices and the skills they are taught are then preserved for another generation.
